My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Allie! She is a sweet, fun loving Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Allie is only about 8 months old and is very ready to start her new life with her future family. Allie has had all of her vaccines, she has been spayed and already started on heartworm prevention. Allie is a loving little lap dog that would love to snuggle on the couch while her new Mom or Dad enjoys a good movie. Allie also loves to play and can't wait to have a new yard to enjoy. She is great with all people, cats, and really loves dogs her size to play with. Allie came to our rescue from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina wrecked her home and before Hurricane Rita devastated her foster home. Allie was evacuated to safety from New Orleans and found herself in a shelter, her family lost everything and could not take her back. Being she was surrendered to the shelter she didn't have much time left, as the shelter could only hold pets for families who could reclaim them. Thank goodness for Allie, All Creatures Rescue found her. Allie has been evacuated twice and is ready to settle down. Allie has been through a lot in her short life and is looking forward to meeting her new family. Allie's adoption fee is $100.00.
