Playful
Great with other dogs, cats, small animals
Great with men and women
Great with preschool aged and older children
Not tested around children under 3, close supervision is recommended due to playful nature.
Loves toys, hard chewer.
Kennel trained during decompression
Decompression training highly recommended during first 2-3 weeks in new home.
A bit anxious until settled in, will come with anxiety medication.
Bed sleeper, but will sleep on floor if told to.
Low maintenance grooming
Loves treats
Sweets came from an elderly woman who could no longer care for her. She was a trained and certified therapy dog for this woman. Certificate does not transfer to new ownership. She knows basic commands and will lay on you if she senses a rise is heart rate and anxiety (panic attack symptoms). She will paw at (alert) once symptoms begin. She will also paw at you when she wants attention, not to be confused with the latter.
Keep all small toys and stuffed animals off the floor when not supervised.
