My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweetie Pie was born in July 2022 and was raised with two other kittens in the same foster home, so she is accustomed to other cats (but does not know dogs).  She purrs a lot and is curious and playful with a calm side.  She sometimes appears shy but definitely enjoys attention. Sweetie Pie will curl up on your lap if invited!  She lives up to her name!

Go meet their pets

Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
