Meet Ruger! He is a stunning 3 year old Australian Shepherd that weighs 43 lbs. He isn’t neutered but is up to date on shots and on heartworm preventatives.

Ruger is crate trained. He is good with dogs, dog-savvy cats and children. He is submissive and will let other dogs eat his food. He gets excited when meeting new people and will put his paws on you, but will get down when told no. He is underweight but working on gaining weight.

Ruger is very velcro and loves to snuggle! He is being surrendered because the new owner took him in to get him healthy but cannot keep him. He has heartworm and is currently being treated for this. His treatment will end in late March and his future owner will need to continue his treatment.
