My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I AM IN THE SENIORS FOR SENIORS PROGRAM! This means that my adoption fee is waived for anyone over the age of 65.

Hello, my name is Leah. I am a super sweet, super loving, super friendly cat who will be your best friend and constant companion. I am calm, gentle and laid back. I love to lounge with you. I will find all the most comfy spots, the sunny spots, the warm spots and relax. I'm all about the love. I am very friendly and I enjoy cuddles and being petted. I was born in 2011 and you won't find a better behaved, more perfect family cat. I am litter box trained and ready to go. Please apply today! You'll be so glad you did! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $110. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
