Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gus is a 14-month-old purebred Brittany Spaniel. Rose is a 3-year-old purebred Bassett Hound. Both are neutered, microchipped, house and crate trained. We did not submit the AKC paperwork for either, but we still have them that could be submitted by a new owner. In November, we moved to a retirement community. We had not planned to do this for at least 2 years, but things changed. These best friends went from a 4000 square foot home and large yard to a small home and tiny yard. Gus, especially, needs more room to use his high energy. He is from hunting stock and could definitely use more training. He knows sit and stay but has not accomplished off and is overly excited on walks. Rose is calmer and helps Gus burn off some energy chasing and playing together. Both, in the evenings, become lap dogs who want lots of loving, They are good with kids but need older kids who can help Gus learn not to jump on people. We hate to rehome them, but our situation is not best for them.
