My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sandy is an all-around sweetheart. She loves every person she meets, even the ones she only sees from a distance on our walks. She is fully housebroken and crate-trained. Her biggest love (besides her foster mommy), is the outdoors. She LOVES being outside! She loves looking out the window when she is inside - her foster mommy thinks she has her own personal neighborhood watchdog. She would be great with anyone who likes to hike, bike, or run. When she is done outside, her second biggest love is to cuddle. When all the other pups are hogging the couch, she will lie on the back of the couch just to be near her foster mommy.
Sandy does great with all dogs and gets so excited when the neighborhood kids come over to play. She has learned some simple commands. She will sit for treats and to get on the leash as she knows she is going on a walk. Her foster mommy says she's an all-around love and is looking for a home to call her very own.
She says to please watch her video on youtube. https://youtu.be/gEnRNbZ73Qg
Won't you give this girl the chance to get her new home before the winter is over?? She would love to be sporting a cool sweater on these cold winter days!

Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog's adoption fee will be reduced by $50 through 3/19 as a part of our St. Pawty's Day promo. This dog tested negative for heartworms.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
