Hi - We are Kate & Isabelle! We are both approx. 2 years young and calicos. And we are both spayed, vetted, and ready for adoption here at Advocates 4 Animals!
Our life started out *very* tough. Words and photos cannot begin to convey the conditions we were rescued from. We were rescued with 40+ other cats and kittens from a house that had been foreclosed on. The home had not had running water or electricity for over a year and we (cats) were forced into living in beyond unsanitary conditions.
Thankfully, Advocates 4 Animals was able to make sure we all got to safety and that we were all spayed/neutered and vetted. Due to the trauma we endured prior to rescue, we (and the others rescued) will naturally be a little bit reserved when first meeting you - as we want to be sure we can trust you and that we can trust that our new home/environment will be clean, loving, kind, and a true forever home. It is important that we find a home that is understanding of our past and that is patient with us to warm up and adjust.
Due to our past, we would love to be adopted together as a bonded pair!
We prefer a home that is calm and kind/caring. We will do best in a home without small children.
We really enjoy being petted, hanging out with you, looking out windows, playing with cat toys, lounging around, and being loved on.
We especially love Da Bird feather wand toy! We love the toy called SmartyCat, too. We enjoy toy mice and scrunchie ball toys, as well.
And we also love watching YouTube "Videos for Cats" and listening to calm music. We would love a forever home that lets us lounge on the couch with them and sleep in bed with them/snuggle. We also really love Temptations Cat treats!
We both are so grateful to be safe and really hope to find a loving, forever home!
