Ch-Ch-Ch-Chía is a former feral who was socialized by her rescuers after her caretaker was not able to take back her and her two older kittens in late Autumn, 2021. Named for the Muisca lunar deity, this shy, sweet girl has come to love morning scritches in the cat tree bed, sitting at the top of the yoga mat while her foster practices and meditates, and trying every bed, blanket, and possible napping spot.

Chía at first is shy and will take refuge in a cave bed, box, closet, or under a couch. Over time she will open up and her delightfully calm presence will shine through - and soon you'll see her absolutely adorable face each time you open the door or open a bag of treats (whether they're for her or you, ha!).

Her forever home will be calm with a consistent routine that she can slide into easily. Chía's adopter is someone who is patient and eager to invest in bonding with her with positive reinforcement socialization to ensure she continues to trust humans and thrive with them. She will become your absolute best work from home, reading, meditation, writing buddy!

Chía is spayed, up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative, and microchipped. While she does not care for the antics of kittens, Chía does get along with calm adults and could be placed in a home with another cat with the right introductions. She can also be a solo gal!
