My name is Gigi and I'm a friendly and playful girl. I am currently in a foster home, but am looking for a forever family of my very own.
It took me a little time to warm up in my foster home, but now I am affectionate, cuddly, curious and very eager to please. I am housebroken and crate trained. I'm also super friendly with everyone I meet! I’m okay with kids too. I have been gentle with the children I have met, but because of my size I could easily knock a little one over accidentally. I weigh in at about 75 pounds and I’m a big, bouncy, goofy puppy. l definitely don’t know my own size!
I’m not a needy girl and can be independent and true to my husky side, a little mischievous, and I’m not a barker. Ilove to go for walks and we are currently working on my pulling. It is just that I get so excited when I get to go for a walk. I love a lot of things! I love treats and am especially fond of whole wheat bread bits and chicken jerky. My foster mommy also gave me the opportunity to be destructive in her garage and yet I have been remarkably good about not getting into things. I’m a good girl!. I love to run and I am super fast, so if you are looking for a running buddy to stay in shape then I’m you gal.
I also love water and will jump right in and go swimming. I can fetch a ball from the water too if I’m in the mood to fetch. Sometimes I like to fetch, sometimes I don’t. I’m very good at catching the ball mid-air and I love to play tug. In fact, Tug is my favorite! They say that dogs are color blind, but I like my orange ball and orange toys the best for some reason. I also love squeaky toys, but I tend to shred the average squeaky toy pretty quickly.
I am hoping for a forever family of my very own who will love and play with me. In return you will get a loyal friend always by your side and ready to play.
