56 lb. Gladys is a real lady. Calm and clean in her room, well-mannered on
a leash, she is quiet dignity in action. She may have frost on her face, a
quirky crook in her tail, and letters freeze-branded onto her ears, but
beauty shines out from inside her. When she looks at you with gentle
brown eyes, you see the wisdom ten years has taught her. Compliance and
love seem to be her mission.
She acts amenable toward all and appreciative of any moment given to her.
When introduced to our resident cats, she behaved meekly. Gladys is quite
the cuddler. We often find her snuggled within the blankets on her doggie
bed as if just waiting for someone to join her. She loves a flavored
Nylabone in the evenings before bedtime.
This wonderful, senior girl was found by a kind person who was unable to
give her a home. When she went unclaimed from local animal control, she
came to us with her heart open and ready to spread her love. You could be
the recipient of her sweet devotion.
