Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bali was recently rescued when found living outdoors at a trailer park. She is located in the Columbus, OH area. Her exact age is unknown but the veterinarian estimated her to be approximately 10 months old. She’s a longhair dilute tortoiseshell with little patches of cream on her pretty gray coat. She is very playful, curious, and affectionate. Her hobbies include chasing after & wrestling with her foster brothers, playing with shoestrings, and kneading fuzzy blankets. Bali loves playing and napping with the other cats and kittens in her foster home. Sometimes she even tries to snuggle with and bathe them. She would love to be adopted into a home with other kitties or along with another kitty. She requires time to warm up to strangers, and she has a somewhat timid nature. So we believe a quiet home with an experienced cat owner that has no young children or dogs would be best. When first rescued, this tortie girl was very scared, but since living in a foster home over the past month, she has really come out of her shell. She used to pull back when a hand reached out to pet her, but now she sleeps in bed with her foster parents every night, she follows them around sometimes, and she’s even started climbing in their laps. She doesn’t enjoy being picked up, but that could very well change over time. She enjoys being petted so much that she she’ll often start purring and kneading her paws. She’ll even stand on her hind legs and reach her head up to meet your hand. Bali also enjoys being brushed. While she loves affection, she can also be independent. She is content to go off by herself and explore or nap. You may find her climbing on a bookshelf or curled up on a warm blanket or quilt. Bali is mostly quiet and calm, but once she gets comfortable in her surroundings, she LOVES to play, and she can become very animated. It’s not unusual to see her pouncing, jumping, hopping, and standing on her hind legs. She gets so excited at times that she may even wind up doing a somersault or tumbling down the stairs. She enjoys plush toys, toys that make noise, toys with lights, and toys with balls. Bali isn’t a big eater and mostly prefers to eat dry kibble, but she does occasionally enjoy crunchy treats (especially Friskies Naturals) and wet food. She has been spayed, tested, microchipped, and vaccinated.
