Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pepper is a 3 year old chihuahua mix. She came to us as a puppy after a colleague rescued her from a bad situation. She is a pretty typical small dog: a bit jumpy, startles/scares easily, loves to cuddle and run around the yard doing zoomies. She adores sitting as close as possible to her people and will be your best companion. Pepper gets nippy around new people and dogs but it doesn't last. It just takes her some time to adjust to new people and situations so she is not going to immediately warmup to her new family. However, with some understanding and patience, she will be your best little buddy.
She is crate trained (can go up to 10 hours in it with no potty breaks). With frequent outdoor breaks she is housebroken.
We have a 13 year old large dog who does not like her and we don't want Pepper to get hurt. This situation is getting worse. We feel Pepper would be better off with a family that truly wants her and understands small dogs and their needs. She has a lot of love to give!
