My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buck! Also known as Crash aka WalNUT. I kid you not! 😂
Are you someone who enjoys a needy dog? One who's been labeled a stage 5 clingy Velcro dog? Who's whole world revolves around their humans? If so, look no further we got you. You will never feel alone. He will always have eyes on you, spoon with you every night, cuddle and snuggle you, and on those blah days as he holds you and loves you deeply.

Buck is friendly with dogs of all sizes and ages, cats, and even children. He is the perfect active happy-go-lucky puppy.

Buck is an 8-month-old pup believed to be a lab Dobie mix. He's all legs tho. He loves to play, learn and explore. Buck is always happy to meet new people and other dogs. He is smart in a SIMPLE happy own way. That's all that matters. His gentle outgoing personality is developing beautifully and watching his brain at work is super fun and a challenge for us humans to understand at times. Buck is smart like very smart he just lacks reason. He is extremely food, praise, and toy motivated tho. He is exceptionally confident which gets him in trouble or maybe he just doesn't care. His curiosity is more momentous than he is and he doesn't give a second thought when he is committed and simply exploring the world. Even when corrected he understands but does not always agree. But he listens. It's all fun and games to him and that's ok as long as his people are patient and willing to guide him. Consistency and stricture discipline make it easy and learning to make
good choices.

Our house and crate trained, current to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto & corona, 1 or 3-year rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped including free registration for life, spay/neutered, heartworm & lyme diseases tested negative upon adoption, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention.

Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. We do NOT ship and meet and greet are required before adoption unless you are a previous adopter.

Previous adopters of AHS have the first choice and are not expected to pay another adoption fee again. Donation of their choice is welcomed.

Training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues and opportunities arise daily that have to be addressed and or rewarded. Continued training is a must.

Adoption process information can be found on our website
www.animalhousesanctuary.org

Adoption Fee of $350 covers all of the above and everyday needs/care.
