Meet Otto! This precious pup is ready to find his forever home, and he wants his new family to know these 10 things about him:
1. I am a mystery mastiff mix, and I am about 3.5 years old.
2. I was at a shelter in South Carolina for a long time before I got to come to rescue. I guess most people don’t have a lot of love for XL mixed breed dogs, but I am hopeful that The Bullpen can help me find my forever family.
3. I am pretty overweight right now, but I’ve been on a strict diet since I came to the sanctuary and I’m slowly but surely slimming down. My new home will need to continue limiting my food intake and will need to be vigilant about not over-feeding me!
4. I’m a social guy, and I like most everyone that I meet. I think I would do well in a home with children over 10, as long as they weren’t too loud or rambunctious and had some previous experience/training with big dogs.
5. I wouldn’t mind if my new people had a female dog that I could hang out with, as long as she wasn’t too small and we were allowed a slow introduction and integration.
6. I haven’t had much experience living with cats, so I can’t say for sure if I like them or not.
7. The words that best describe me are silly, laid-back, and sweet.
8. My favorite things are going for walks, eating, and taking naps.
9. I am housebroken, crate-trained, and pretty good on a leash (if I do say so myself).
10. I am fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
