Velvet, born the end of September, was trapped and brought into foster care after being seen running across a busy four-lane road. She enjoys being carried around the house so she can look around, especially to look out the windows. She's a good little car rider, too. Her name comes from the first thing you'll think of when you touch her. Although she is shy, once you pet her, within two strokes you will be rewarded by a loud purr followed by rolling on her back with her feet moving with delight. Velvet is very gentle when she plays, loves to chase balls, and likes feathers and string toys. She's a very sweet and beautiful torti baby girl looking for someone to teach her how to cuddle.
