My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buster is a 4-5 year old Lab. He has been at the shelter for over 500 days! He weighs about 60lbs and is a calm, sweet boy who is good with kids. He has a girlfriend (Emmajean), but he does not get along with other dogs or cats. Buster has been overlooked for almost 2 years and we have no idea why! He is just adorable!! He is current on all vaccines ,heartworm negative, neutered and microchipped.

More about this shelter

Washington Wilkes Animal Shelter is a small, open door shelter. We strive to save every adoptable animal that is surrendered, orphaned, abandoned, abused and neglected. All animals are spayed/neutered at time of adoption, vaccinated. All dogs are heartworm tested/treated at time of adoption.

All procedures administered to the shelter animals are funded solely on donations. We are in constant need of monetary donations to continue the vetting of these animals.
