My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Sprite, and after nearly two years of waiting for my forever home, I can’t help but wonder if my chance will ever come.

The SPCA rescued me from a cruel situation in December 2022, and despite receiving lots of TLC from my caretakers, I’ve had a very difficult time finding confidence in myself here. The flurry of activity and new faces around me makes me want to hide away.

I’m searching for a loving pet parent who can make me feel safe, cherished, and at ease. Someone who will be kind and patient with me as I come out of my shell. Because even though I’m still a bit skittish and continue to learn to trust, there is nothing I long for more than a best friend.

Could you be the angel of a person I’ve been dreaming of? Please contact or stop into the shelter to apply for me. I cannot wait to start living my very best life with you by my side.
