My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Lucy. I’m a lab mix and a young pup myself. I just welcomed eight beautiful lab mix puppies to the world, born a few days before Christmas 2022.

I was rescued from death row at Devore shelter. I had a high risk pregnancy and underwent an emergency c section after a puppy became stuck in my birth canal. I had a previous injury to my pelvis that was never treated and healed improperly. Tragically, I lost one puppy, and I almost died as my uterus was rupturing when surgery began. If Expand Animal Rights Now had not rescued me from Devore, we would all have probably died a horrible death given the lack of veterinary care in the shelter.

I am an absolute sweetheart and love affection. I have a lot of energy, love squeaky toys, and will benefit from training.

I and all of my puppies will need forever homes. My puppies are multi colored - brown, black, and grey and are absolutely adorable!
