My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is an all-around socialite who loves to meet people. We have learned that Buddy is a true angel who has helped to save lives. The local vet needed a dog to donate blood to help the dogs that needed it. The shelter picked Buddy since he was young and healthy. He was a trooper and did so well with his donation. This is what I call a true hero:)
Buddy has gone to doggie college recently at a local university. He has gone to class with his student, received vaccines/preventatives, and socialized with the other doggie students. I knew he would be a standout as he is such a good boy!!
Buddy is a goofball that loves to be the life of the party. He can be a serious boy when it comes to running after his toys; he can be a loverboy when it comes to big, sloppy kisses; he can be a photogenic boy when it comes to his silly foster mom telling him to sit and pose for the camera; and he can just be your buddy when it comes to going on hikes or walks.
He is a very active boy so a big backyard to run and play in would be ideal for him. He gets along well with all dogs and wants to just play. He loves tennis balls and will run and fetch them for hours. His demeanor is very sweet. He likes to lay on the cool floor like a hippo does but can be a snuggle bug too. He was recently introduced to the feline breed and didn't really have much to do with him.. He just seemed interested in where the kitty had been. Didn't chase the kitty when he ran off so I think it is safe to say that he would do well with a feline in the family.
Buddy is learning to walk on a leash and he has accomplished using a doggie door and is housetrained when taken out on a regular schedule. He loves to go for rides and is crate-trained. Give this sweet guy a chance to show you what a good companion he can be!!
