Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A beautiful black and white female domestic cat. Shock was surrendered with her litter mates Lock and Barrel and she is the only remaining one out of the litter. Shock may be shy and standoffish at first but we believe once she is adopted, she will finally be able to open up and thrive. She needs someone to give her a chance and that can be patient with her. She can be misunderstood at times but that’s OK! Shock does well with other cats and doesn’t mind dogs. She would probably do best in a home with older children as she is shy. She has started to open up more and we hope her going into a home will help socialize her more. Shock is an indoor cat ONLY, litter box trained, and ready for adoption! If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
