Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maxson, is a standard Aussie that weighs 50lbs. He is a Velcro pup that loves to play keep away and cuddle. At 3yo he has all the puppy energy. He loves to play and be chased around the yard. He will fetch but would rather not bring it back. He loves napping at your feet.
He takes a minute to get used to new people. He is reactive so will need additional training on introductions. He is being muzzle trained and showing great progress in this area.
Maxson makes friends with every dog he meets, no matter the size or breed. He is not familiar with cats but would probably warm up to them especially one that was used to dogs.
He is a gentle player and not possessive over toys but can become guarded when food is involved so it is best to feed him and other pets separately. He loves treats but not the vet. Maxson has been known to sneak a bite from the table if he can reach it.
He will sit in your lap, lay next to you or even on top of you if you really need a hug. He is a very sweet boy that will need some additional training but is a quick study. He will sit, lay down, give paw and is learning place and recall.
He would be best in a home that can commit time to training with him. Adults are preferred but may be okay with older children that are comfortable with large dogs. Homes that have frequent visitors or alot of foot traffic may find Maxson to be more of a challenge.
He is a very sweet pup that will make a great companion. He is great at the dog park and interacts well with others so he would do okay in an apartment with a proper amount of exercise and a securely fenced area to be able to run off leash. He really enjoys having a yard so that is preferred.
Maxson is up to date on vaccines, on prevention, neutered and microchipped.
