Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Trevor and I like pets. Seriously, do you wanna pet me?!
I’m a 2 year old Border Collie mix with a fantastic fan of a tail! My human said it’s important to mention I am neutered, utd on vaccines and preventatives, and healthy. Good, now that the boring stuff is out of the way, I can share all the fun stuff!
I am pretty chill for a youngin, I prefer to be near my humans more than anything. I play well with the other dogs in the home, but I would prefer to be the only dog, or possibly a docile female sister if she happened to be the right fit. I can’t help but to guard my attention and bones sometimes. Did I mention I just love my humans?!
I don’t much care for crates, and I’m a master at breaking out. But I promise not to destroy your home if you let me nap on the couch while you’re gone. Although I would prefer you home more than not. If you work from home and wanna take me most places you go, I would love love love love love you forever!
I like walks, but I do get a little excited. My foster mom has been training me not to pull on the leash, and I’m learning but sometimes I forget. Outside of the gate and beyond is just so exciting!!
Ooooh, the best thing I’m best at is jumping!!! I’m the best jumper I just know it. The humans say I should participate in agility. I’m not sure what that is but it sounds fun, do you wanna teach me? I’ve never jumped the 4ft fence in the yard even though I definitely could. But I do hop over the baby gates in the house with ease.
I make for a great shadow basically everywhere you go in the house. When you’re sitting on the couch, you can count on me to be right next to you, literally as close as I can physically be. The humans don’t know much about my past, but they can tell I am deprived of attention. Or at least that’s how I act. Please pet me!
There are a few things I’m not fond of, like tugging my collar. Just tell me what to do or where to go and I’ll do it I promise! You don’t have to pull my collar to get me to go. And also, don’t you dare pick me up. I’m starting to trust my foster humans more and they’re teaching me those things aren’t the worst in the world, but it will take time for me to trust you too.
Another fun fact is I like to chase the cat. I would never harm him, but boy it sure is fun to chase! If you have a cat, he better be dog savvy or else he probably won’t like me much.
I have a never ending amount of love to offer, and I hope you do to! If I sound like the perfect companion for you, fill out the application and come pet me! I mean, meet me 🙂
