My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED by a generous donor *

This is Champagne. Ready to make a toast to a new home but can`t seem to pass the other glass to the right person.

This four-year-old pretty kitty has called the SCSPCA home twice now. She came in as an older kitten with ringworm, endured months of treatment, and then found a loving home. A few years later, her person became ill and could no longer keep her, so she`s now back with us. Poor Champs.

Change is hard for her. Always has been. When she`s comfy and in a routine, she`s happy, loving, and affectionate. When she`s not...well, she`s much less happy, loving, and affectionate. But goes to reason, right?

Champagne is looking for a cat lover through and through. The kind of person who knows and loves how cats operate and isn`t turned off by the transition period that a sensitive kitty, such as Champagne, needs.

We could see her doing well with another cat who is social -- with a slow and thoughtful intro of course. Wanna meet her or learn more? Call the adoptions desk (831-465-5000) Wed-Sun 11-5 and ask for Champagne!
