Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
White/red tabby
Kirby is a very affectionate and gentle boy. He is shy at first with new people and plae however once he settles in he just loves to be petted. Kirby now jumps up on the couch and lays beside his foster mom for pets and he will curl up in front or behind her if she lays down. Kirby is fine with being picked up and held. He is a bit of a soft talker especially when he wants attention. He truly loves his canned food which he receives twice a day.
Kirby loves to play. He can keep himself occupied especially with catnip toys or he will interact with wand toys or chase a laser light. Kirby also loves to watch birds and squirrels through the window and you will always find him having his afternoon naps either on a soft fuzzy blanket on the couch or curled up on his cat tree.
Kirby was rescued from outside by a caring colony caretaker when he showed up hungry in one of her outdoor cat colonies. It is not known how long he had been outside or how he came to be there however he was fairly traumatized and very shy at first. Kirby has made incredible progress and has turned into a sweet, sweet boy he is now. Kirby makes no attempt to want to go outside again.
Kirby is best suited to a quiet calm environment with a single person or a quiet couple. He is much too nervous to be a good fit in a busy household. He will have a tendency to hide at first but with time and patience you will see his true sweet personality shine. Kirby would prefer to be an only pet and this will allow him to get all the love an attention for himself.
Kirby is now getting a second chance to find his forever home where he can play, lay in the sunshine and just be loved. Please give this sweet boy a chance at the life he deserves and has been patiently waiting for.
