Mama was found with her 2 -7 week old puppies in a field in rural Eastern Shore of VA.  She took wonderful care of them until she was found by a young woman who agreed to foster for us.  Mama and the pups have a wonderful bond but it is time to find them permanent homes.  Unfortunately, Mama has heartworm but she is already started on treatment and we expect her to do very well.  We won't be able to spay her until after her treatment- probably another 3-4 months but we could do a "pre-adoption" to someone on the Eastern Shore of VA or MD.  Any adopter would have to agree to take her to Greenbush Veterinary in Greenbush, VA for her treatment which at this time would involve 2 visits for injections- one visit overnight. Mama is very obedient, loving, and a very sweet dog.  She is housetrained. She has done her job well and has earned a permanent home to pamper her after a tough time.
