My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I am Tequila Rose!! I was pulled extremely pregnant in 2020 from the City of Wichita Falls Animal Services and had my babies the next day. I love water, people, petting, being silly and goofy. I love life. I am okay with other dogs but not in a home setting. I love to get all the attention to myself. I am definitely not a cat lover and it would not go down well if I saw one. I love car rides and love to give kisses. Belly rubs are the best!! I do have a special adoption fee and my Aunties Claudia and Kimber simply adore me. Cassey comes to my kennels to give me kisses.

Go meet their pets

We will have Adoption Events posted on our Facebook page and Twitter. Our Twitter account is Emilys Legacy Rescue @EmilysLegRescue. We would like to do meet and greets with people and try to match them with the right home for their individual personalities. We do recommend doing a meet and greet when their is another family dog.

More about this rescue

Emily's Legacy Rescue is named from my Dalmatian Emily who died at 12 years old. She was the most amazing and loving girl. It was because of losing her that we first got into adopting our dogs. We then started fostering and volunteering. Emily's Legacy Rescue is all about helping displaced animals who find themselves in need. We do pull from kill shelters and place them in foster homes. In foster homes, we find that we can work on house training, crate training and any issues they may have to allow them to find the best possible homes.
