What can we say about Cheese? He`s kind of a big deal and he`s not shy about telling you! He`s adventurous and confident. He loves to explore and is very curious. He`s also a bit of a foodie, so his name is very appropriate. If you`re looking to add some excitement to your home but also looking for someone who can relax and chat about the day with you- Cheese is your guy! Cheese is truly one of a kind! Our adoption center is located at 575 Woodland Avenue in Madison, New Jersey. We are open for adoption on a walk-in basis daily 1:30-6 pm (Thursdays 3-6 pm). If you arrive after 5:30, there is a possibility we may not be able to complete an adoption that day. Please note that we cannot put animals on hold.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. It operates animal shelters in Madison, North Branch and Ledgewood, New Jersey and one of the largest professional dog training and behavior centers in the country at its Madison campus. Humane Education and community outreach assistance are among its programs offered to the community. St. Hubert’s also provides animal control services by contract in several municipalities in proximity to the shelters.
