My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chippa!! This sweet girl was brought into Kay Animal Hospital with a broken leg from being hit by a car. Upon examination, she was also heartworm positive and not spayed. She had surgery to fix her leg, was spayed and went through heartworm treatment. She's good to go and eager for her forever family. She's still at Kay Animal Hospital and has been there a while so we are posting her as a courtesy in hopes of finding her a forever home. She's approximately 6-7 years of age, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative but is on daily heart medication (not expensive but required 2 times a day). She's submissive, low energy, loves people and children. She does well with other dogs but no cats please. She would be best in a home with minimal stairs but can manage fairly well if necessary. She is not food aggressive, loves to go for walks (great on and off leash), not a jumper but would love to play in a fenced in yard. She's a real snuggle bug, loves big fluffy beds and she loves squeaky toys. She absolutely loves children so the perfect home for her would be with a family with kids. Her adoption fee is $200

Applications will be forwarded to Kay Animal Hospital for consderation.
