United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.
A55108253 Peter is a strikingly handsome and affectionate (see video) 2-year old black-and-white neutered male Alaskan Husky who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on October 5th as a stray. Weighing 63 lbs, Peter’s favorite activity is playing with the ball, only to take a break by going on a run! A polite gentleman, he behaves well around other dogs, happy to play with them, or watching them play and respecting their space. Considering his typical Husky-leveled energy, spending time playing with toys and an active owner will make him one of the most content dogs around! He already knows sit and will be a quick learner for any commands. His cooperation on a leash makes it super easy to take Peter on your next run around the neighborhood. We just met Peter and he’s already urgent on our list so we are hoping someone will see his gorgeous face and give him a chance.
