My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy is a sweet, 8 year old Pointer Mix, possibly a bit of a Lab Mix, estimated to be 45 lbs.

Prior to joining BAARK, Sammy was bounced around until he reached his foster home. It takes a bit of time for Sammy to warm up to people he does not know, but once he gets to know you, he is your best friend! He enjoys being petted, and snuggling next to his person. He loves to chew bones and play with (tear apart!!) soft toys. He is not too fond of sharing his toys, however, and prefers to hide them when not playing.

Sammy is afraid of loud noises and can be startled by quick movements, as well. He gets long with most dogs, but would definitely do best with a female dog friend. He’d enjoy being an only dog too.
A family with older children or an all-adult home would be great, but smaller children might scare Sammy.

He is housebroken, and can be left free-roaming when home alone.

Sammy is fully vetted, up-to-date on all vaccinations, has had recent bloodwork, is heartworm negative and is on year-round heartworm prevention. He is also neutered and microchipped.
