My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Britney and Kevin! These two are inseparable. (Which is why they are being adopted as a bonded pair.) It is unknown whether they are siblings or just best friends, but one thing is certain--they are in love. This dynamic duo was abandoned at a rental property, left to starve. They were in a bad way when a good samaritan contacted Meowy Me. After months of rest, recovery, food, and medication, they are fit as furry fiddles and ready for their new home! Estimated to be between 3-5 years old, Britney and Kevin are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-free, and microchipped.

SPECIAL NEEDS: Britney tested negative for FIV/FeLV, but Kevin tested positive for FIV. (Feline immunodeficiency virus.) FIV is NOT a death sentence, nor is it something to be afraid of! Kevin can live a long, healthy life as an FIV+ kitty. The virus is something he likely contracted through a deep muscle bite inflicted upon him by another positive cat sometime during his hard past. FIV is misunderstood by many, and it's not nearly as scary as it sounds. As Kevin is sweet and not inclined to viciously bite other cats, Britney is perfectly safe in his presence. (It is extremely unlikely the virus could be passed via mutual grooming or sharing food dishes.) If you have more questions about FIV, Google has a variety of resources. What does the virus mean for Kevin longterm? He may have a weakened immune system and be more prone to catching colds, etc. He will need to be treated promptly if this occurs. His new parent(s) will need to keep an eye on his teeth as FIV+ kitties have a tendency to have poor dental health. Currently, he could use a teeth cleaning. NOTE: Please inquire at your veterinarian about the estimated cost of a feline dental with possible extractions (he may or may not need them) to make sure it's something you're financially prepared for before you commit to adopting this amazing pair. His lifespan may be slightly shorter than that of a negative cat. (But maybe not!) Other than that, Kevin can have a happy, normal life. At this time, he's chubby, healthy, and criminally cute.

Email or text ONLY with questions about Britney and Kevin or to receive a digital application. I do not accept calls. I offer a 14-day money-back trial to ensure Britney and Kevin are a good fit for your family. I also offer a lifetime return if for any reason you are unable to care for them in the future. I am also available indefinitely for cat-care questions and guidance.
