Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Cookie. My former family moved and left me behind. I thought surely they would come back for me but...they never did. I'm living at my foster mom's house now.
My foster mom took me to Spruce Your Pooch Grooming Parlor and the groomer thought it best to shave me down. So...now I have a great new hair duo! Wow...I sure feel good now! I look like a cocker spaniel but have the hair texture of the Heeler breed.
My foster mom says I'm a really sweet gal! I like the other dogs and cats are okay with me too. I'm crate trained and have pretty good house manners too! I'll consider families with children over the age of 6 to adopt me. I'd like a home that will include me as part of the family along with a safe fenced yard for me to play in.
My adoption donation is $125 which helps cover a portion of the care and services the humane society has provided to me including spay, vaccinations, de-worming and the heartworm testing.
If you would like to be considered for my adoption; please only send an email inquiry and the humane society will send you my application via email. Although I would love to return everyone's telephone call, it's an impossible task given time available.
My foster mom took me to the vet and my Heartworm Test came back positive. I had my first treatment on 11/17/05 and I go back in a month for my second treatment. I'll be ready to go home with YOU sometime after my second treatment.
If you could help with a donation to pay for my Heartworm Treatment; that would be great! Even if it's only a couple of dollars, it all adds up! Plus, your donation is tax deductible.
