My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

​Meet Cider! She is a Poodle or doodle mix and is estimated to be 3 years old and weighs 46 pounds. This poor pup found herself at a local shelter where (can you believe it??) nobody claimed her. It appears she recently had a litter of puppies. She is currently at a local vet’s office where she is going to get thoroughly checked out and a much needed spa day. She rides very well a car and she has greeted everyone with tail wagging and kisses. She seemed very happy to land in Rescue and she climbed into my lap and rested her head to say “thank you”. We will update as we learn more about her but so far she is a dream.

Our timid gal is really blossoming! She is really showing her playful side and and you can see from the video she is learning how to play with toys and loves them! She is also enjoying meeting new dogs and did well at a playdate at another volunteer’s house. She is so sweet and she is also enjoying going out for long walks with our volunteers. Each day she becomes more confident and trusting in the world around her. We adore her!
