More about this rescue

Mike and Cyndi Bland;
We are both retired and do dog rescue and sanctuary work from our home. Most of our dogs are rescued but some are surrendered. The dogs are taken in for an initial health screening where they can be scanned for a chip and possibly reunited with their owners. If no chip or no connection with previous owners is made the dog is held for 90 days and posted as found on multiple websites and social media platforms. After 90 days the dog is put into our adoption program.
We also are a sanctuary for troubled dogs with behavioral issues. We work with the dogs to improve their quality of life and find their forever homes but if they are not adopted we keep them at the facility living in comfort.
We do this because we love dogs. We see so many euthanized at the government run shelters or abandoned on the roadside that we have to save as many as we can. Our current capacity is 35 dogs but we are working on expanding our facility in the near future.
