My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sampson is a 5 yr old French Bulldog that weighs 33 lbs. His owner gave him up because they were having a baby and decided they had no time or finances to take care of him.
He was getting really bad ear infections that they never treated and this caused him to develop “cauliflower ears.” It became so serious that surgery was necessary to stop the recurrence of the infections.
His hearing was already impaired from all the infections he had but subsequent to the surgery, he is now deaf. His Foster Mom thinks he can feel vibrations from sounds like sirens. We are teaching with hand signals for basic obedience commands.
Samson is very sweet, loves people and other dogs. He needs some leash training as he does pull to meet other dogs he sees on his walks. He’s not a barker and is house trained. He loves to play with other dogs, but because of his size and weight he can play a little rough so you just have to monitor play interactions.
He loves his long walks and has medium to low energy. Samson loves to snuggle and can “play bite” if he hasn’t had enough exercise to burn off the energy.
