UPDATE: Star has started to become a part of the family! She enjoys kids and is now playing with the other dogs in the household. SHe loves to run and play chase in the backyard with the other boxers, both males and females. And she is checking out toys and learning to play!

Star is very shy and timid with people. She is a flight risk at this time and would be very difficult to catch if she was to slip a leash. Star would do best in a home with another dog for guidance. Patience is needed to allow Star to become a family pet. She is a work in progress and will be for a long time. Boxer experience, shy dog, or puppy mill survivor experience would be very helpful at this point.
