My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Root Beer, but you can call me Root Toot!

I want to tell you a little about me cuz I really really want a family all my own.

I had a pretty rough start to life, some people were not very nice to me and I have a kind of silly ear because of it, but the people that take care of me now at the shelter still say I am "super cute" even with my special ear, and it doesn't bother me any. I don't hold a grudge though and I really love all the people I meet. They give me lots of love, snackos and snuggles which are my favorite. Some of them say I am their favorite too.

Recently I got to bust out of the shelter for a bit to go on an adventure and I LOVED it! I was told that I was such a good girl like I had been going on adventures always. I even got a puppacino and a chicky nugget which I wouldn't mind having more of. Riding in the car was pretty cool, I got to stick my head out the window. I want more of that cuz it means adventure! I do not mind walking on the leash at all, I am not one to pull and would love to go on so many more walks with my family and then of course the cuddles. I also got picked to go on an overnight sleepover with a family and they said I was such a good girl. I loved everything about being in a cozy house. I even taught myself to go potty outside!

As you can see from my pictures I am on the smaller side so I won't take up much room on your couch, but perfectly sized for snuggles. I like to play but I am really pretty chill.

For right now, I would like to be an only dog while I get to learn how to live in a home cuz that will all be new to me and I will need help learning, but I am so excited for when it happens for me!! If you think you want to be my forever family please fill out my application so we can meet!-Rooty Toot
