Okami is a handsome young boy ready for adoption!! He is affectionate, loves walks, enjoys playing in the yard and is intelligent. He responds well to training and has grown so much during his time at the ranch! He has done well with friendly female dogs but can be reactive on leash to some dominant males. Okami is very loyal and would love his forever home!

We have an adoption agreement and ask that you keep us informed of the dog's whereabouts if you move or relocate and also that you maintain updated contact information with our organization.

We ask for a tax deductible donation of between $250 - $500 to help us pay vet bills, rescue fees, boarding & transporting expenses.

More about this rescue

We specialize in rescuing Akitas , both purebred and mixes and from time to time other large breed dogs from high kill shelters, provide medical assistance if needed, assess them and find homes. We are truly the last resort for many dog that would otherwise be put to sleep. This is a act of kindness for those in most need & out of love for the dogs.

We are an all volunteer organization that survives on donations.
