My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mojito, the sweet senior dog melting the hearts of everyone he meets! Mojito may be a little older, but he`s still full of love to give. This cuddle bug is always ready to snuggle up with you and soak up all the love and attention you can give. Despite facing some senior health issues, Mojito doesn`t let anything dampen his spirits. He`s a trooper through and through, and the shelter team will provide all the necessary information to ensure he gets the care he needs.

One thing`s for sure: Mojito is great with cats and kids. He`s a gentle soul who adores the company of both furry friends and little humans alike. If you`re thinking of bringing Mojito into your family, he`d love to meet any other dogs you have at the shelter. He`s a social guy who enjoys making new friends.

Mojito is a true favorite at the shelter, and it`s not hard to see why. With his loving nature and charming personality, he wins hearts wherever he goes. Does Mojito sound like the companion you`ve been looking for? Meet him at HSHC today!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
