German Shepherds are one of the best breeds for alerting and protecting. If that's what you are looking for, Johnny is your guy!

Johnny is your classic, strong German Shepherd. He is intelligent, alert, protective, and loyal. He has great recall, knows a few tricks, and loves to play fetch. He's also happy for hours with just a bone and a rug. He's content with just doing whatever you are. Johnny is a fun, happy, silly dog. He makes us laugh everyday! He is about 4 -5 years old, neutered, and weighs about 85 pounds.

Johnny usually has average GSD temperament and like many shepherds he is quite excitable in high energy situations, like meeting new people and pets on his home turf. Johnny has gotten along with more submissive dogs, but given his tendency to get overexcited, the best home would have no children, no other animals, and a calm, low traffic environment.

Johnny is also looking for a foster home until he is adopted into his furever home.
