Meet Lily, a 4.5-year-old, 67 pound, lap dog. She's part German Shepherd and part Love Bulldozer. With her exuberant and affectionate personality, Lily will make you feel like the most important person in the world. She’s a moderate-energy dog who enjoys both roughhousing and cozy snuggles on the couch. Lily is at her best when she has both exercise and mental stimulation.
Lily is fully house-trained and adores people of all sizes, but she would thrive in a home with older kids who can handle her playful, sometimes overly energetic, behavior. She’s great with other dogs when introduced slowly and carefully, but she’s untested with cats. While Lily takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, once she trusts you, you're golden!
Lily is still perfecting her playtime manners and is learning when it's time to pause and relax. She’s a fan of bones, stuffies, and treats, making her training sessions enjoyable. Though she’s not fond of the crate, she can be trusted to be left alone in a room or basement with a Kong or chew toy for a few hours.
Lily needs a home with a strong, experienced handler who understands German Shepherd traits and will be patient while she works on her reactivity. She would do best in a quieter home with fewer visitors. If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate companion who will be your steadfast friend, Lily might just be your perfect match!
