My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to double the fun and love in your life? Jiminy and Cricket, an inseparable pair of playful brothers, are looking for their forever home! These sweet boys are full of energy, affection, and endless entertainment.

Jiminy:
Jiminy is the life of the party! He goes absolutely wild for feather wand toys, performing impressive midair backflips to catch them. He's always up for a game and loves engaging with ball track toys. When playtime is over, he's more than happy to curl up next to you for some snuggles.

Cricket:
Personality: Cricket is a bundle of joy who can't get enough of catnip toys and ball track toys. He's becoming more adventurous and outgoing each day, exploring new places and making new friends. Cricket also has a snuggly side and enjoys quiet moments with his favorite humans.
Special Care for Cricket:

Cricket has a history of urinary crystals, so he needs to stay on a urinary-specific diet to keep him healthy. He recently had a urinalysis, and we're happy to report that everything looks great!

Together:
These brothers share an incredible bond and complement each other perfectly. They bring out the best in each other and will bring endless joy and love into your home. Whether they're chasing toys or cuddling up for a nap, Jiminy and Cricket's antics and affection will keep you smiling.

Jiminy and Cricket are the perfect pair for any home ready to welcome a duo of loving, playful, and adventurous cats.

Adopt a new furry friend
Our volunteer foster homes get to know their fostered animals well and understand their personalities—allowing us to make great matches between people and pets! Let us know about your family situation, current pets, and the type of pet you are looking for and we can guide you to animals that would be a great match.

Our primary adoption site is the Angel’s Wish Pet Adoption and Resource Center at 161 Horizon Drive, Suite 106 in Verona-just a few minutes from Madison. Visit adoptable animals, and get acquainted in private visiting rooms. Open hours are Saturdays 10am to 4pm and Sundays 1pm to 4pm.

More about this rescue

Angel’s Wish is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2000.

Mission Statement
Angel’s Wish is dedicated to reducing animal overpopulation, rehoming companion animals, and raising awareness of animal welfare issues in South Central Wisconsin.

Why are we called Angel's Wish?
Lois Lawrence, a founding member of Angel's Wish, once rescued a kitten from a construction site. Weak with starvation, dehydration, and a severe upper respiratory infection, neither veterinary treatment nor Lois’ love and care could save the kitten from the effects of that hot June day. Angel died that night in Lois' arms. We believe that Angel's Wish would have been that no other animal be subjected to pain, suffering, abandonment or neglect.

About the Animals of Angel’s Wish
We divert animals from ever arriving at area shelters, and as space allows, assist rescue groups and shelters. We accept only animals we have space to care for, and euthanize only for severe medical or temperament reasons. Animals stay in their current home or are cared for in volunteer foster homes until adoptive homes are found.
