My Foster Likes:: Sunshine, cat trees, toys, quiet
My Foster Dislikes:: Loud spaces, her foster's cats, most dogs
My Foster's Ideal Home Would Have:: A quiet home without other pets to worry about
Good with cats?: No
Good with dogs?: Tolerates
Good with children?: Tolerates
Would this kitty enjoy an animal companion?: No
Temperament: Independent
Ideal type of household?: Low activity
How long will it take kitty to settle into a new environment?: A few weeks
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about?: Gianna was very constipated when arriving into care, so she needs to be watched for that. She was on a special diet, but seems to be doing okay on purina one adult now. As stated above, she is shy, but a very sweet girl.
Foster cat's bio for their adoption profile: I am a beautiful, approximately one year old spayed cat. I like playing with toys, sitting in the window and sun tanning, and eating. I am shy with other cats and tend to hide from them. I have been with my foster for 2 months and have not adapted to the cats here, so it would be best if I was an only cat. I tolerate my fosters dog, but don't like some of the other dogs that come over, so a quieter friendly dog would probably be okay. I really am a sweet girl, I just prefer quieter spaces and would love to be considered if you meet this description :).

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
