Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for Love, Here he is!
This is Ike!
Boy he sure is something special!
He is a PB Boston Terrier male, neutered, up to date, about 2 yrs old, 12-14lbs, house and crate trained.
He was rescued from the shelter and came all the way from Abilene, TX.
Ikey Pooh is such a doll.
He does ok with other dogs his size (he feels threatened by larger dogs) and LOVES his people! (he is a snuggle bug).
Ike would do best with children over the age of 6yrs, and would prefer to be an only child. (he prefers the attention)
Ike or Pooh as he is call in foster care is a wonderful companion and LOVES to cuddle with you and take long naps. But beware he does snore!
Like most Boston's he is prone to allergies and is on the BARF diet (www.barfworld.com).
A little bit of background:
He was dumped in the shelter after he was attacked by a Large Breed dog. The previous owner did not want to pay to make him healthy again.
During his vet visit we found that a q-tip could be put all the way through the top of the muscle to the inside of the mouth. We had to extract 4 teeth due to the infection that had set in. He also had an ulcerated eye that has been trrated and healed. He does have some scare tissue on that eye.
