Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dottie!! Dottie is a 4-month-old Aussie mix gal. Dottie recently found herself in a rural Oklahoma shelter as an unclaimed stray, and then she made her way to All Paws and is now ready for her happily ever after.
This adorable gal gets along well with other dogs and would love a family with a playful dog to show her the ropes. She is about 15 pounds now, so she will be the perfect medium sized dog when full grown. Sometimes her peppy attitude overflows into jumping on people, so her new family will need to help her improve her manners. (For this reason, also, a family with either no children or older children would be best.) With patience and consistency, she will learn how to be a good doggie citizen and a puppy training class or two would definitely be helpful, as well. She learns routines quickly and becomes soundly attached to her people. Dottie loves playing with toys, likes going for walks and does well in her crate. She has done wonderfully with potty training at her foster home and should easily master it with continued training at her forever home. She's a total love bug and if you adopt her, she's sure to provide a lifetime of loyalty, companionship and puppy kisses.
**We are looking for a home with a fenced yard for Dottie. No apartments, please**
All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. The adoption fee is $150. If you're interested in adopting, please complete our Adoption Application on our website at www.allpawsrescueok.org
