Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Happy! She is a beautiful 2 yr old Australian Cattle Dog/Heeler mix, weighs 59 lbs, good with other dogs, older kids and unknown about cats. Happy is high energy with excitement, loves affection, somewhat leash trained but could use some work as she tends to pull a bit to get to her next adventure!!! She is crate trained, spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped and mostly house trained. Happy is cautious around men until she gets to know them She just needs a loving home, a regular schedule and some PAWsitive reinforcement to be your perfect girl. No health or behavioral problems. Happy loves to play with toys, love cuddles and is looking for someone who is as excited as she is about each day and the patience to help her become the most confident "good girl" that she can be. Bday 3/14/22

Additional adoption info
We require an in-person application for all dogs and cats. A home visit will be required for larger dogs, who require a fenced in yard. Our animals are only adopted out after they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our adoption fees are $80 for cats and $110+ for dogs. Puppies are $130. Cash, check, credit or debit card are all accepted. Sometimes the fee will be higher for a dog, if it is a purebred. We would like to keep our adoptions local; in the event the adoption does not work out, the animal must come back to us. Adopters must sign an agreement to this effect. We do consider out of state adopters, please phone us before coming. We are a private shelter run mostly by volunteers. Please be patient if we take a little time to respond. Volunteers check emails and respond to phone calls.
Those adopting a cat must bring a carrier to transport the cat home safely.
