Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Age: 8 years Weight: 55 pounds Dogs? Possibly! Jasper has lived with other dogs in the past. Bring your dog for a meet and greet to see if it is a good fit! Cats? Possibly! I've lived with a cat in the past but he made me a little uncomfortable. Kids? No thank you.
Hey, I'm Jasper. I've been at the shelter for far too long now. My roommates are so rambunctious and loud that it makes me sad. The shelter staff gave me a diary to write in to see if it helps me express my emotions better. I really think I'm writing some good stuff, it'll probably get published some day, after my novel wins some awards. People keep telling me that I'm a "HUSKY" and that my ancestors were "WARRIORS AND ATHLETES" but I don't feel that way. I just want to sit in a well manicured yard and write some poetry or something. I wouldn't mind having someone cool nearby to hang with and read some pages from my diary with, maybe grab a coffee here and there (home brewed is fine, too).
If interested in adopting me, please make sure to fill out an application prior to calling the office. https://www.ark-valley.org/adoption-matchmaker-application/ Please note most of our animals are in foster homes and appointments are required for meeting adoptable animals. This animal may have one or two breeds listed on its profile based on its physical characteristics, however our staff is never certain. The majority of animals that come through our shelter are mixed breed and have not had a breed test done.
