My mom is being transferred into a long term care facility in the next month or so. Sammy has been her companion for 8 years, due to my moms medical condition she is becoming unable to care for her. Sammy is 12 years old, she is just slowing down a bit with her age other than that she is best suited for a one dog type of household. She is great with people but not with other dogs and cats.
