Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BO – Lab-Mix / 1.5 Years / 15kg / M-Neutered
Bo is looking forward to being the leading man in your life! He is handsome, determined and has a bit of swagger.
In his past home, he was abused and neglected, and he is adjusting to his new life in Canada kinda like Justin Bieber adjusted to fame. He is enjoying his meals, making new friends and can test the limits at times. Foster mom is working on routine and boundaries (just like Hailey Bieber did for JB).
For his future home, we are looking for a home for him to be mans best friend. He is all about the people and can take or leave the other dogs in the home. He enjoys to get out and stretch his legs, whether it be a walk, or a hike or racing around the back yard. We have a feeling that he wouldn't mind running a 5k with his human. He can get excited when he plays and we recommend older kids only for him.
On walks, he is excited to greet everyone and a halti is helping to keep pace with his humans. For a guy that had never been on a leash before, he is doing just fine and we are seeing daily progress. He is crate trained and he has almost mastered house-training. He loves to listen and learn and be in the moment with his people (especially when they are in the kitchen), He knows sit and down already and will be a pleasure to train. His favourite thing is to chase his ball in the yard and any squeaky toy is the best toy ever.
He did pass his cat test and he is good with dog pals, but we suspect his preference is to have you all to himself. If there are kids in the home, they would need to be older/sturdier.
To apply for this amazing boy, check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. His adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply. (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/ ).
